Slippery Rock: Growing by the Year

It is crazy to see how much Slippery Rock has grown over the years. I have family friends that went here in the 1990's and just recently came back to visit. They were stunned because of all the new buildings and the thriving town. I think we are lucky to go to such a great school. It is small enough that you know a lot of people but big enough that it doesn't seem too small. I think I chose the right school.

Education Cuts

Not a happy camper when I hear what is going on in Harrisburg. Cutting money for higher education? You have to be kidding me. The future of our country is the millions of college students, yet Pennsylvania wants to cut money towards us. Good riddance. I hope they can find some sort of agreement that is not 50% of the states budget on education. I already pay enough for education.

Boy am i glad that is over! Next time i wont wait till the week before it is due to start it. Trying to get all my documents scanned and reflections typed the day before it is due is crazy! I thought i told myself to not procrastinate but obviously I didn't listen very well. At least i am glad its over and we only have 3 weeks of school left!

Slippery Rock Semester

3 weeks until my 2nd year at Slippery Rock is over! This semester I am taking 3 physical education classes. These classes include technology in physical education, assesment strategies, and striking/fielding. The only class i don't enjoy this semester is my math class. Thankfully, only three more weeks left!
